Who would have imagined that the little girl nicknamed “Jenny Who Ain’t Got a Penny” would one day be recognized as Lady Jen, Dame Commander? Her commitment to humanitarian service and transformational leadership led to her becoming a knighted member of the Royal and Sovereign House of Cappadocia under the Royal Order of Constantine the Great and St. Helen, as well as the
Royal and Military Order of St. Charles.

Lady Jen is a multiple-time Amazon and Barnes & Noble bestselling author, the host of three podcasts, and the producer and host of the television show Business on the Vine. A Legacy of Giving Back
Success Means Little Unless It Serves Others.
For me, success has never been meant to stop with achievement. It is meant to move through us, into our families, our communities, and the lives of people who may never know our names.
My life’s work has been built around the belief that we are not here only to build businesses, create wealth, or collect titles. We are here to use what we have been given — our voice, our influence, our relationships, our resources, and our resilience — to serve others well.
I often say, “Live your legacy while you are building it.” That is not a slogan to me. It is a decision. It means generosity cannot wait until life is easier, business is bigger, or the timing is perfect. It begins now, with the people, causes, and opportunities placed in front of us.
Why Philanthropy Matters to Me
I understand what it feels like to fight for your voice, your worth, and your place in the world. My own story did not begin with privilege or ease. It began with resilience, faith, hard work, and the choice to become more than the circumstances around me.
That is why giving back is personal.
Philanthropy, to me, is not simply writing a check. It is showing up. It is listening. It is using influence responsibly. It is helping create dignity, safety, opportunity, and hope for people who are navigating difficult circumstances.
There is a season in life where we learn. There is a season where we earn. And then there is a sacred responsibility to return.

Causes Close to My Heart
My giving and service are centered around causes that protect dignity, restore hope, and create stability for people and communities in need.
Women and Children in Crisis
I am deeply committed to supporting women and children who are facing homelessness, abuse, trafficking, instability, or unsafe circumstances. Every person deserves protection, dignity, and the opportunity to rebuild.
Eradicating Human Trafficking
Human trafficking is one of the greatest violations of human dignity. I support efforts that bring awareness, advocacy, resources, and restoration to survivors while helping end the systems that exploit vulnerable people.
Survivors of Domestic Violence and Abuse
Through organizations and relationships dedicated to survivor advocacy, I support work that helps people move from silence and fear into safety, healing, and renewed strength.
U.S. Military Veterans
Those who have served deserve more than gratitude. They deserve continued support, connection, resources, and honor as they navigate life beyond service.
Community, Faith, and Hands-On Service
Some of the most meaningful acts of giving happen quietly — through local service, community events, fundraisers, mentoring, and helping where help is needed most.

When a Voice Helps Another Person Feel Seen
Some of the most powerful impact does not happen on a stage or in front of a camera. It happens in the quiet moment afterward, when someone says, “I thought I was the only one.”
That is why I share parts of my story. Not for sympathy. Not for applause. But because someone else may be carrying a similar wound, fear, or question. When one person has the courage to speak, someone else often finds the courage to heal.
From Achievement to Contribution
For many years, my focus was on achievement, performance, and proving what was possible. Today, my deeper question is different: “How can what I have built serve more people?”
That shift — from success to significance — is the foundation of this legacy. It is why I believe business, leadership, and philanthropy are not separate conversations. They are all part of the same calling.
Service Is Not Always Grand
Sometimes giving back looks like a gala, a mission, or a major charitable initiative. Other times, it looks like volunteering, mentoring, making a connection, donating resources, offering encouragement, or helping someone take the next step.
The size of the act is not the measure of the impact. The heart behind it is.
